“ Looking at this fresco, we see leadership at its best—power restrained by wisdom, and authority earned through truth.”

Antoni S Pellegrino
Author
The School of Athens portrays leadership as authority rooted in truth-seeking, not domination—an environment where credibility is earned through reason, dialogue, and intellectual integrity.
By centering Plato and Aristotle, it models the leader’s core tension: holding vision and ideals together with practical reality and consequences.
Its ordered, shared space suggests enlightened leadership creates coherence amid diversity—a culture where many voices can disagree without the whole losing direction.

My work and life have traversed several worlds — art and science, intuition and evidence, inner experience and practical reality. I spent many years in France, but I’ve also lived and worked in other parts of Europe, from west to east, and for a time in Asia — all very different worlds, with values that challenge assumptions and widen the sense of what it means to live well. Those places weren’t just backdrops; they changed how I listen, and what I take seriously.
In recent years my writing has become a way of bringing things together: ambition and meaning, leadership and conscience, personal healing and social responsibility. I’m interested in what helps human beings become steadier, kinder, and more coherent — especially when the world is noisy and divided. That’s the thread running through Awakened Ambition and the Principio series, and it’s also why I keep returning to ancient history, philosophy, and early languages: they widen the lens, and they soften certainty. If my work has a single aim, it’s to encourage clarity, dignity, and a more cooperative future.

Recode the leader within
Modern leadership didn’t fail for lack of ambition—it failed through confusion: visibility mistaken for virtue, speed for wisdom, control for strength. Principio I: Leadership Recoded returns to first principles and rebuilds leadership from the inside out.
It introduces the Principio framework by clarifying a decisive distinction—power versus legitimate authority—so leadership becomes something steadier: grounded in presence, ethical coherence, and trust that can endure.

When pressure reveals the truth
Leadership ideas are easy to admire until pressure arrives. Principio II: Leadership Tested explores the moments where stress, temptation, conflict, and uncertainty reveal whether authority is real—or merely performed.
Using real leaders from history as vivid case studies, it shows how legitimacy is earned, diluted, or lost, and how trust is shaped by small decisions long before outcomes become visible.
